APPRENTICESHIPCONTEST AWARD
This award is for the winner of the AWMAC BC Apprenticeship Contest held each year at BCIT. This is a national contest with the winning cabinet from each chapter going on to National for judging in early May. (Apprenticeship contest movie HERE)

GUARANTEEAND INSPECTION SERVICE AWARD
The GuaranteeandInspectionServicewas instituted to give purchasers of architectural woodwork a level of expert oversight that would otherwise be unavailable to the lay-person. Together with AWMAC Membership and the use of the ArchitecturalWoodworkStandardsas the specified reference, the GIS program gives our clients the assurance that there are universally accepted conventions for quality and techniques and that AWMAC shops can and will follow them. This Awardis for the Member firm that had the largest number of deficiency free GIS inspections in the past year.
The idea behind this award is to recognize innovative programs, policies, tools or projects, that assist in reducing workplace injuries.
